It was really hard to park. The food was pretty good but the service was slow.

Great codos to the bartender last night, he did an amazing job of keeping the drinks full and made my over cooked clams right by bringing a fresh batch to the table. The replacement steak fries we got for dinner were solid, though the originals were mushy and not overly hot. The fish my brother and mother got were both well cooked, but their fries were also mushy and off.

Love that I was able to call in an order and pick up. Fish and chips were delicious!! A fabulous lunch. I was happy to be able to support a local restaurant during the time of Coronavirus.

Food was awesome, service was a little slow.

We have been several times and the staff is always very nice. Still need to try the fish & chips!

Great food, friendly staff. Philly steak, Ruben and Fish & Chips all top notch. They brought us out a blacked fish on the house to sample. I'll order that the next time. Good rotating draft list. Save room for the carrot cake or bread pudding.

They serve an excellent fish dinner! Atmosphere is great. Carrot cake is made in house and is Awesome!!

Their fish and chips are always a favorite! I am also a fan of the Cole slaw.

Miranda the bartender and Amanda my server were incredible. Came for a meal and due to outstanding service moved from our table to the bar to end the night.

Service was great. The food was pretty good. The batter on the fried mushrooms and onion rings was crunchy but needed more seasoning and to be smaller in size so it's easier to eat. The French dip sandwich was awesome. Good mixed drinks and happy hour deals!!

This is the place to get fine furniture at a fair price. The selection is amazing and so very tasteful.

Staff are very polite, food is always good. I have never gone there and regretted going. I will always be their customer.

I've been to this Old Bag of Nails 3 times and have never been dissatisfied with the food or service. This last time I had misplaced my credit card so I was late picking up my order.The Waitress behind the bar had my food heated up and also gave me a soda while I waited. Always a lovely atmosphere and friendly courteous service.

Classic pub fare in a historical building in Hilliard. The chain bar/restaurant in the middle of old Hilliard sits across the street from another Hilliard landmark, Otie's bar and grill. For me the portions are just right. Great place for lunch, dinner or a night out

Although the service was great, the food wasn't good at all. Decided on the signature fish and chips. In the past I have ordered this and I got a decent sized fish fry that was meaty, I mean almost as thick as 2 fingers and would leave me full. This time @ this location, the fish was about as thick as a Steak and Shake hamburger. Yes, that thin. Not even a half hour later and I was hungry again. That and the fish was overcooked. Very disappointing but everything thing else was good.

Food was wonderful. Staff was excellent also. Really enjoyed the shrimp and the fish.

Picked up a carry-out order in May. Nobody at the counter or bringing food out from the kitchen wore masks or gloves. No barriers were in place. 4 - 6 people were sitting at a table (don't know if they were staff or customers) didn't have masks. Credit card handled/run manually & a signature was required. Food was good just very poor safety.

My husband and I are here last weekend on a whim. We're new to the area and have heard great things about this restaurant. Our experience definitely exceeded our expectations! We both ordered sandwiches and the potato skins appetizer which was absolutely delicious. Before we headed out I ordered a milkshake to go. This was unexpectedly my favorite part. Literally the best milkshake I've ever had. I have been thinking of stopping by just for the milkshake, it was that good! Outside of the delicious meal, the atmosphere was great too. It was clean and cozy. Perfect for a date or a night out with friends/family. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us often. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Salmon was cooked PERFECTLY. Everything else was fresh, and tasty. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. It's actually been a while since Ive been this please with a dining experience.

So happy this place is open and running at full steam again! Just had a great dinner and got to see some familiar faces! James (jimmy) gave us amazing service and the cooks prepared great tasting food! If you’re a fan of nachos... The nachos are huge and delicious! They have a great menu here!

Best soups around , everyday they have a dayly soup. I personally love their french onion and clam chowder. they have all you can eat soup and salad, way better than olive gardens! The staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed. Everything was brought out fresh and I'll keep going back ! Best around for fish and chips too !

Me and 2 other guys are Army Vets. We hadn't really got together in 30 years. We Chose OBN as our place to meet. Alexa and Miranda were great. Those 2 ladies went far above to help us have a great time. Management should be proud of these ladies. Thank you again ladies!!

Awesome all you can eat fish dinner.

We have eaten here plenty of times and had pleasant experiences. However today at lunch was not one of those. We sat in the bar area. My wife got the all you can eat soup and salad... well you have to wait so long for the second serving it's not even worth it. Our drinks sat empty for most of the visit. Bartender was more interested in playing with another employees baby and talking with some guy sitting at the bar. The female manager sat clueless at the end of the bar while people waited at the front door to be seated, and we were dying of thirst! Probably won't be back to this location! Unfortunate because we did enjoy dining there.

It's been awhile since we've gone to the Bag of Nails. The bartender was great and that's why I gave 3 stars instead of 2. The muscles and shrimp appetizer was very tasty, but the quality of the fish and chips has gone way down. To charge $17 for a piece of fish that you can get at your local grade school is not good. I remember the fish being large and fluffy, but that's not the case anymore.

A good pub style restaurant. They have booth, table and bar seating. They have a pretty good beer selection that changes often. There food is pretty tasty as well. They have a very good fish and chips. Their burgers are very good. We have never made it dessert since we are stuffed by then. It is a nice restaurant to take the whole family.

Very good. Expect to drop 20- 30 bucks each, but you'll also have left overs. Loved it.

Food is always good here. They rotate soups daily and the lobster bisque on Fridays is an absolute standout. It can be a bit pricey, but only if you order something like all you can eat fish. $17+ dollars is steep but it's unlimited fish however you like it, not to mention they have all you can eat shrimp on Wednesdays. They don't only do fish though, they have a good variety of food that is all made reasonably for the price. The atmosphere really does say "Irish pub" but it does have a small dine-in section about equal to the size of the bar. Parking is somewhat difficult but is available all around the store. They also host parties on the second floor. Overall it's a really good place to hang out, grab a beer, and have a good time with some friends. Or even a good little place to have dinner with the family.

Very good fish and chips. However, we hadn't been for a few years and they've raised the prices considerably. Service was excellent.

I love the Bag of Nails Pubs and this one is no exception. The food is good (soft pretzel is HUGE) and they made a chocolate martini that is definitely one of the best. Tina was exceptional, super friendly and attentive.Love the old brick walls and cozy English Pub atmosphere! Will return on my next trip to Hilliard

Great food, great waitresses, but my girlfriend ended up getting sick and throwing up a few times that night after only eating the muscles and shrimp. My food was great, dont recommend getting the seafood.

I have been to many other locations and I am a huge fan of bag of nails. This was the first time I had been to this location. Waitress was very nice but after 40 minutes I asked about my sandwich and it must have been forgotten under the window. Not sure what happened. Paid for my drink and went to roosters. It really didn't even seem that busy

Came here with my wife and father-in-law. It was his first time here. Our waiter, a man in his late 30s/early 40s with spiky hair, was quite literally the best waiter I’ve ever had; friendly, attentive, and really enjoying his work. Really got the feeling he cared about our experience. Couldn’t be happier! I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

The food was wonderful, awesome and the service was just as good. I will be back even thou I live over 80 miles away, it is that awesome. Thank you for a wonderful time.
